Why we are Giving Back
As passionate travellers and traders, we have been fortunate enough to explore and experience the beauty of various destinations around the world. However, over the years, we realised that there is more to our journey than just experiencing new places and cultures. We feel it is only right to also be giving back to the areas we visit.
From first hand experience, we understand that by making our own mistakes and getting into bad debts, it makes life a little more challenging to say the least. We also understand that giving to charity is extremely difficult, especially when striving for our own financial independence and stability. Fast-forward a few years, we are now in a position where we want to make a much more significant impact. That’s why we decided to start this “Giving Back” initiative alongside the trading and travelling lifestyle aspects of this website. We want to give back just as much as we continue to grow and achieve our own personal financial goals.

How we are Giving Back
At Trade and Wander, we are committed to using 50% of our net profits each month to support good causes in the areas we travel to. This could include projects related to things like education, community development or environmental conservation. By allocating the resources in this way, we aim to not only explore new destinations and cultures, but to also contribute to their well-being. We are also aware that many people will not necessarily be receiving direct benefits of the tourism in their local community. It is their home after all. This avenue opens up plenty of ideas of how we can directly impact their lives.
Transparency
Transparency is at the core of our Giving Back initiative. We pledge to be completely open about our earnings and expenses related to this website. We will not take any salary or income from the site before calculating the 50% net profits that will be donated to support the communities we visit. In order to back this up we will publish our statements showing the costs and earnings each month here.
We recognise that even the most affluent tourist destinations have their fair share of struggles and challenges. Our goal is to look beyond the surface and contribute meaningfully to the communities we encounter during our travels.
The Rewards
As we embark on this journey of giving back, we look forward to sharing the stories of the impact our contributions have made. We will also provide opportunities for our community to get involved and enjoy the rewarding experience with us. This may be through direct donations or possibly by participating in the distribution of the Giving Back resources.
As we are still at the beginning of this journey, our initial focus will be on raising awareness about our mission and inviting our audience to join us in this rewarding endeavour. Don’t forget to share our mission with others on socials to help spread our mission!
